I offer therapy in English for adults living in France. Sessions are for anyone who prefers speaking in English. They can take place in my office or online, depending on what works best for you. Working in English allows you to express yourself clearly and freely, which can make therapy more effective.
Common Issues I Work With in English
I provide therapy for a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:
– Anxiety and stress
– Emotional regulation
– Low mood or depression
– Burnout and work-related stress
– Relationship and family difficulties
– Self-esteem and identity concerns
– Life transitions, loss, or periods of uncertainty
Therapy provides a safe space to reflect, understand patterns in your life, and develop practical ways to cope and grow.
My approach: CBT and Systemic Therapy in English
I use both Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and systemic therapy.
CBT helps identify patterns in thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that can cause distress and supports you in developing practical tools for change.
Systemic therapy looks at your life in context, including relationships, family, culture, and work environment. It helps understand difficulties not just as individual problems, but as part of the systems around you.
These approaches can be fully applied in English, offering the same depth and effectiveness as therapy in French.
Therapy for Expats and International Residents
Living abroad can bring specific challenges, such as cultural adjustment, isolation, identity questions, changes in relationships, or work pressure.
When relevant, we can explore these experiences in therapy. The focus remains on your personal experiences, emotions, and goals, not only your situation as an expat.
Useful information
Sessions are available in person at my office or online. Both options allow therapy to suit your needs and circumstances while providing a professional, confidential, and supportive space.
